Witches:
Witches are people thought to possess magical powers or to command supernatural forces.
There are multiple clans in the witchcraft world, each clan possesses a different ability and wield a different element.
As a witch develops more abilities with their element their magical appearance changes, as well as their physical appearance and as long as they continue to be at one with their element they remain immortal, but immortality only happens when a witch becomes a complete master of his or her element and magic.
All Witches have one familiar. Their familiar ages the same as they do and they are linked by their magic and element.
Restrictions: Due to the wide variety of abilities under elemental magic, Please pick 1 - 3 major abilities under whatever clan your character belongs to.
Masters can have 1 - 3 abilities from their clan and up to 1 abilities from 2 other clan.
Kumori Clan:These are air witches. They have control over wind and air. They can create storms, fly, make barriers from wind, they can even manipulate oxygen (They can increase oxygen or remove oxygen) etc. With Mastery of air these witches gain the ability to become invisible.
Physical Changes: As a Kumori clan masters air their hair becomes more wispy and lightens in shade. Their eyes also become brighter and can even gain flecks of silver. Their skin lightens slightly and they become more graceful and agile.
Possible Familiars: Birds, Winged Bugs/insects, bats, Griffins, etc. (Think Air)
Blade Clan: These are the warrior witches. They are naturally skilled with battle strategy and are excellent in most forms of weaponry. Their magic allows them to conjure blades and develop protective barriers around their skin to prevent injury.
Physical Changes: As Blade witches master their skills their skin develops a "film" of sorts that prevents weapons from being able to penetrate and cause them harm.
Possible Familiars: Porcupines, Armadillos, Large Cats, Minotaur, etc. (Think Warrior or Sharp)
Gaia Clan: These are the earth witches. They have control over nature. From trees or rocks, flowers to mountains. They can create or manipulate it all as long as it is a type of earth. They can create earthquakes, cause rock slides, etc.
As their mastery increases they develop tunneling abilities, touch healing, and the ability to create earth from nothing.
Physical Changes: As they master their element they gain muscle mass, their skin darkens and becomes hard. Their eyes turn darker and gain a green or brown color or flecks.
Possible Familiars: Moles, Bears, Wolves, Golems, Faeries, Nymphs, etc. (Think Earth or Strong)
Donn Clan: These are the witches of death, spirits and shadows. They aren't evil, well some of them are, but most of them are just misunderstood.
They have control over death, disease, spirits, and darkness/shadows. They can manipulate shadows, summon spirits. They can absorb life force with a touch.
Once they have mastery they can bring people back from the dead, kill people and even stop someone from dying.
Donn witches are immune to death magic and poison. They also have the ability to see through illusions.
Physical Changes: As they become masters of their magic their skin pales and they develop an appearance similar to that of a vampire. Their eyes brighten to a lighter shade or if they use their powers for evil, then their eyes turn red or black.
Possible Familiars: Spiders, Snakes, Scorpions, Shadows, Chimeras, etc. (Think "Scary")
Aythn Clan: The Fire witches. They can control/manipulate flames and heat. Once they become masters they can create flame from nothing, cause volcanic eruptions, etc.
Physical Changes: Their skin darkens, their eyes get a golden tint and their hair turns either red, orange, black, or yellow.
Possible Familiars: Phoenixes, Small Dragons, etc. (Think Fire)
Calder Clan:Water witches. These witches control and manipulate water in all it's forms.
Physical Changes: As their mastery grows, their skin lightens slightly and becomes slightly translucent. Their eyes change into shades or blue, gray, or silver. Some also develop small gills behind their ears, but this only happens to those that live in or under the water.
Possible Familiars: Otters, Turtles, Frogs, Geckos, Kelpies, etc. (Think Water, No Ocean creatures. If there is an animal you want but aren't sure, feel free to ask)
Leto Clan: These are the witches with powers over animals. They rarely use other forms of magic due to the fact that not only can they summon spirit animals, but they also have 2 familiars.
Physical Changes: Leto clan masters change the least by mastering their magic. Their appearance changes based on their familiar. For example someone with a tiger familiar would develop traits of a tiger (Stripes, ears, tail, etc)
Demons: There are many different forms of demons, not all of which are evil.
There are fire demons, water demons, earth demons, shadow demons, demons of disease, etc. They are misunderstood and feared by most. Demons can be an enemy of witches. They can be in the ranks of Hunters, or they can be Allies with the witches; there are also some demons that keep to themselves, occasionally terrifying a village of humans.
Physical Appearance/Changes: Demons come in all shapes an sizes. They can be hideous creatures of darkness or they can look exactly like humans. This varies widely.
Possible Familiars: Most demons don't have familiars, but if they do it is usually a hell hound.
Non-Magical:
Humans: These are just human... They have no magic. They're fragile but intelligent. They die, but they persevere... Humans are able to become witches or hunters.
Physical Appearance/Changes: They don't have any special qualities.
Possible Familiars: Humans don't have familiars, but they do have pets. Dogs, Cats, Birds...
Hunters: Hunters are skilled humans (sometimes demons and/or exiled witches) that hunt witches. They are very skilled and ruled by a ruthless man named "Christian Robertson".
Physical Appearance/Changes: Hunters are prone to having scars and/or physical deformities (Mostly caused by magic). Other than that they don't have any special features.
Possible Familiars: Hunters aren't magic (Unless they are a demon or witch) so they don't have familiars, they have pets that help them hunt. Dogs (German Shepherds, Boxers, Hounds, etc), Wolves, Birds (Hawks, Falcons, etc)
