Plot

In the year 1204 Witches lived in peace with humans. They were the people that linked the magical realm with the human one. Humans came to witches for remedies, love potions, and predictions of their future. They were the doctors of that time and they provided medicine for the ill and weak. Moira O'Dufaigh, known as Moira Rose back then was the most sought after witch in all the lands, not just for her beauty, but for her powers.

She was approached by a demon and asked if she could find a spell that would change him into a mortal man, curious and always willing to help the needy, she obliged and began doing research to find a spell to alter a demonic soul. The demon, named Aeglaeca, stayed around and assisted her in her work, keeping the fact that he was a demon under wraps. They soon fell in love and had a child together, but shortly after the child was born both Aeglaeca and their new born disappeared; this left Moira devastated and betrayed.

Moira began to do black magic to try and track the demon and in doing so began to darken her normal magic as well. Her medicines started turning to poisons and the humans began dying; and so the first witch hunt began. This caused the Witch Council to recall all the witches from every corner of the earth back into the magical realm; thus removing the witches from the world, unfortunately many innocents still died.


Now, in 2013, the world no longer believes in magic. Some humans try to practice but without the gift of magic their incantations and potions have no power. Humans have forgotten about witches, all humans except the hunters. They are the devout that still believe in magic, that still look for witches that cross into the human realm. Some are caught, others are not. These hunters come in all shapes and sizes, some are even witches that have been exiled, others are demons, the rest are just highly skilled humans.



How long will the magical realm remain hidden?
How long can the Witch Council keep the magical realm safe from harm?
